Reading Hotel

Brief: To provide a full heat recovery Air conditioning system to meet heating & cooling requirements throughout the hotel working in conjunction with the consultant Thornley & Lumb to meet the client brief of cost effective, energy efficient & environmentally friendly air conditioning.

Solution: Toshiba 3 pipe Full inverter heat recovery systems with specialist night set-back panels in each room for fabric conditioning provided by Pacair frost stats.

Implementation: Working with: Teams – Reading.

To achieve a tight programme with various indoor ducted & wall mounted indoor units linked to VRF outdoor systems controlled by simplified wall controllers.

2006 is an exciting year for the Reading Holiday Inn. Currently investing 6.5million pounds will see the hotel upgraded to a 4* deluxe venue. A ‘state of the art' new business centre will be opened comprising an Executive Boardroom and 3 conference and function rooms all overlooking the River Thames offering stylish, yet comfortable and discreet surroundings.
